The following instructions are an important additional step anyone using a HTML autoresponder integration as opposed to an API based one will need to follow when setting up any template for their OLSP Mega Funnel, Mega Squeeze Page, or Mega Live (Commission Generator) growth hacks.

When you use a HTML integration, the redirect that happens after you visitor opts in to your form is controlled by the HTML code your autoresponder provides.

This means that for the Mega Funnel, Mega Squeeze Page and Mega Live templates (which all use a multi-step template) the built in redirect which cookies your optins into OLSP won't work.

Luckily there is a simple fix for this...

To workaround the issue you'll need to create 2 campaigns using the same template:

1. The first campaign will just have the optin step (and not the thank you step).

2. Whereas the second campaign will have no optin step and only has the thank you one.

In effect you'll be splitting the process across 2 separate pages (with unique urls) instead of this happening across 2 different steps on the same page as would normally happen with API based integrations. More info on "steps" can be found here.

This means that the url for your thankyou campaign (2) can be added to your autoresponder when creating your HTML form code. And this code will be added to the optin form of the first campaign.

To the end user the optin flow will be almost identical except for the url changing as they are redirected from campaign 1 to campaign 2 when they optin.

Step by step walkthrough

1. Its easiest to start with the Thank You page, so choose your template, import it to your account, and then just delete the optin step like so.

Save this campaign and you'll now have a thank you page containing just a redirect widget and headline. This page will handle redirecting anyone that lands on it to the right place with you as the affiliate.

The redirect widget itself is already configured correctly in the template and does not need to be edited.

2. Next up you will need to grab the url of this page and add it your autoresponder when setting up the HTML form code. Once you set up your HTML autoresponder form, you will then need to copy and paste this HTML code as a new integration via Workspace Settings > Integrations in the left menu of your Wishloop account.

3. The next step is to create the optin page. You've already imported the template so there's no need to do this again.

Instead you can go to Templates in the top menu and then filter the results to show only the templates you've already imported, like so:
